(Date of Birth 9/1/2018 - 8/31/2020)
U6/U7 Division - Building Skills & Confidence – One Pass at a Time!
This division is the perfect next step for young players who’ve outgrown Lil Vikes and are ready for more structured play—without losing the joy and excitement that makes soccer so fun. Players are now stronger, faster, and more confident. The shots are harder, the passes are sharper, and the energy is nonstop!
These players know the basics, but they’re still learning the fundamentals and sharpening their skills. Practices blend skill-building activities—like dribbling, passing, and shooting—with small-sided games that let them put their new abilities into action. Coaches focus on effort, sportsmanship, and fun, while helping players grow their understanding of the game and their confidence on the field.
This is also the stage where players start learning about positions, teamwork, and the rules of soccer. To ease the transition, rules are introduced gradually over the course of the season—so players can build both their knowledge and comfort with the flow of the game.
And for those who truly shine, there’s a chance to participate in our annual Turkey Bowl (Fall Season)—a special, all-star style event where standout players represent their age group in a fun and friendly competition. Selection is based on a mix of skill, effort, attitude, and pure love of the game. The Turkey Bowl also offers a first look at our travel soccer program for players who may be ready for the next level.
Practices are held once a week, and games take place on Sundays. It's all about learning, growing, and loving the game—together.
